("The Lick Lab", "we", "us" or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, online store, digital content, customer support channels, newsletters, promotions, products, services, and any related offerings made available by us (collectively, the "Products and Services").

5. Pet health and nutrition disclaimer

The Products and Services may contain or relate to pet feeding, treat usage, ingredients, wellness, weight management, product recommendations, and similar topics. Such content is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

While The Lick Lab takes every reasonable care to provide nutritious and healthy products, you should seek advice from a qualified veterinarian or veterinary nutrition professional before making significant dietary changes for your pet, especially if your pet has allergies, health conditions, sensitivities, or special nutritional needs. The Lick Lab does not guarantee that any product or service is suitable for every pet.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Lick Lab shall not be responsible or liable whatsoever for any adverse reaction, illness, injury, intolerance, allergy, deterioration in health, or death that may arise from or in connection with the purchase, use, misuse, consumption, handling, storage, or administration of any product or service, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

  • infringes any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights of any person;

7. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Products and Services, including all text, graphics, branding, trade marks, logos, trade dress, product names, service names, packaging concepts, recipes, formulations, photographs, videos, designs, software, compilations, educational content, website copy, and other materials made available through the Products and Services (collectively, "Lick Lab Materials") are owned by or licensed to The Lick Lab and are protected by applicable intellectual property and unfair competition laws.

You may not copy, adapt, reproduce, republish, distribute, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any Lick Lab Materials without our prior written consent.

8. User submissions

If you submit reviews, testimonials, comments, suggestions, photographs, videos, feedback, survey responses, ideas, or other content to us ("User Submissions"), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display, and otherwise exploit such User Submissions for operating, marketing, improving, and promoting the Products and Services.

You represent that you own or control all rights necessary to submit the User Submissions and that they do not infringe any third-party rights. We may remove or refuse User Submissions at our discretion.

From time to time, we may offer promotions, introductory offers, giveaways, referral campaigns, subscriptions, limited-edition launches, or service-related offers. Such promotions may be subject to additional terms, and in the event of inconsistency, those additional terms will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

Prices displayed on the website are subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown in Singapore dollars and may exclude delivery fees, taxes, duties, service charges, or other charges that are added at checkout or invoicing where applicable.

You authorise us and our payment service providers to charge the payment method used for your order or service request for the full amount due. We may refuse or cancel transactions if fraud, pricing errors, unauthorised activity, or supply issues are suspected.

13. Shipping, delivery, fulfilment, and risk

Any delivery or fulfilment times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk in products passes to you upon delivery, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

If you authorise delivery to be left unattended at your door, gate, mailbox area, concierge, or any other location without personal receipt, delivery shall be deemed completed once the product is left at the nominated location. In such cases, The Lick Lab shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, contamination, spoilage, degradation in product quality, exposure to heat or weather, pest damage, or any other deterioration occurring after the product has been left at that location.

If no one is available to receive the delivery and the product is returned, re-routed, or held because delivery could not be completed, any delivery charge already paid shall be non-refundable. We may also charge additional redelivery, storage, handling, or disposal fees where applicable.

You are responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact details and for complying with any local laws that apply to the receipt, import, or use of our Products and Services.

14. Returns, cancellations, and refunds

Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are subject to our applicable policies as published from time to time. We may reject requests where products have been opened, misused, improperly stored, damaged after delivery, or otherwise fall outside our stated policy, or where service-related cancellations fall outside permitted conditions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Products and Services and all Lick Lab Materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Products and Services will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, suitable for your needs, or free from errors, viruses, or harmful components.

We do not guarantee any particular commercial, nutritional, behavioural, or health outcome from the use of any product, service, or information made available through the Products and Services.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Lick Lab and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or anticipated savings arising out of or in connection with the Products and Services, these Terms, or any products purchased or services obtained from us.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Products and Services, these Terms, or any products purchased or services obtained from us shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us for the relevant product or service giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Lick Lab and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with:

  • your misuse of the Products and Services;

  • your breach of these Terms;

  • your violation of any law or third-party rights; or

  • any content or information you submit through the Products and Services.

18. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or any part of the Products and Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, created risk for us or others, or if we decide to discontinue the Products and Services or any part of them.

Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately, but any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue in effect.

19. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, unless we elect in our sole discretion to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

20. Severability, waiver, and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No failure or delay by us to exercise any right or remedy shall operate as a waiver. These Terms, together with any policies or additional terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Lick Lab regarding the Products and Services.
